This is a work-in-progress series that I've recently started in December 2007. Invisibility seems an everyday thing. We either see it, or we don't. Or unconsciously, we choose not to. Selective visual filtration? Or just perpetual oblivion. No this series is not about a 'social' statement. It's just about that. Invisibility.
Daily DeviationGiven 2008-01-23Invisible by ~nizanharon Documentary street photography is fascinating. The title is enforced by the fact not one of the people in the frame, even the little girl, is looking at the homeless 'invisible man' (Suggested by `IBinsanity and Featured by `Obsidian-Fox) |

and all the men and women merely players:
they have their exits and their entrances;
and one man in his time plays many parts..."
(William Shakespeare, As You Like It, 2/7)
But great picture.

"The symbol gives rise to thought" Paul Ricoeur
...we need to pass from a "re-enactment" without belief to autonomous 'thought"...
Surely buy choosing to document the socially invisible you are making a social statement regardless of wanting to or not?
This is amazing. Well done. I'm going to slink away in guilt now...
